It uses a thick layer of butyl rubber sealant that flows into cracks and rivet heads, then we back it with a soft, dead-soft aluminum foil. It's not a flimsy foil either; it's laminated so it stretches with the metal instead of tearing. Think of it as a permanent aluminium foil butyl rubber tape for metal roofs, RVs, and HVAC ductwork. It bonds to just about anything without a primer—galvanized steel, EPDM rubber, or old shingles—and because it's asphalt-free, it won't leave ugly black stains running down your white siding or roof membrane. HOW TO USE

01 Clean: Surface prep is 90% of the battle. Wipe the area down with a solvent or at least a dry rag

02 Peel: Peel the release liner as you go—don't pull it all off at once unless you like a sticky mess.

03 Press: Press it down hard with a roller. The butyl needs pressure to "wet out" and get a good grip.

04 Overlap: Overlap seams by a solid two inches
