Infrared ceramic tile is made for gas fired appliances. Unlike open flames that waste heat up the sides, our infrared honeycomb ceramic tile captures the flame and re radiates it as infrared waves. The result? Faster heating, lower gas consumption, and less soot. The tile body uses a high porosity formula with thousands of tiny holes, allowing gas and air to mix evenly on the surface. Once lit, the tile glows orange red and throws heat forward without needing a fan. We offer different shapes (rectangular, round, or custom) to fit most BBQ burners, patio heaters, industrial furnace heads, and gas dryers. . The 134×94mm infrared ceramic tile withstands thermal shocks up to 850°C and resists cracking after repeated on off cycles.

How to Use

1.Turn off gas supply and let the appliance cool completely.

2.Remove old tiles or the burner cover.

3.Place the new infrared ceramic tile into the burner housing. Better to use sealing cotton or mud to seal ,Ensure the hole side faces the flame direction (usually outward).

4.Secure with clips or screws if your model requires them.

5.Reconnect gas, leak test, and light. Allow 1 minute for the tile to glow evenly before full operation.

Q: Can this tile be cut to a smaller size?
A: Not recommended. Cutting changes the gas flow pattern and may cause cracks. We offer custom sizes with lead time of 10 days. if must need cut, may use sealing cotton or mud to seal well.

Q: My old tile turned white and crumbled. What happened?
A: That’s usually from overheating or thermal shock. Our tile has better performance,and also avoid dropping cold water on a hot tile.

Q: Does it work with natural gas and propane?
A: Yes. The same tile works for both, but you may need to adjust the air shutter on your burner for best combustion.

Q: How do I clean the tile surface?
A: Don’t use water. Brush off loose debris with a soft brush when cool. Grease from BBQ can be burned off by running the burner on high for 10 minutes.
