Waterproof self adhesive caulk strip is built with three layers: a PE plastic top film, a butyl rubber adhesive middle, and a release liner. The butyl stays sticky for years without drying out, while the PE surface resists daily splashes and cleaning sprays. Unlike runny sealants, this peel and stick caulk tape goes exactly where you want it – no masking tape needed. We chose single sided adhesion so you can reposition the first inch before final pressing. Over time, the butyl caulk strip won’t turn yellow or grow black spots in shower corners or behind the faucet base. It’s thin enough to look like a neat factory seam, yet thick enough to cover gaps up to 5mm.

HOW TO USE

1. Wipe the surface with alcohol or a degreaser. Let it dry completely – any moisture under the strip will cause lifting.
2. Measure and cut the strip longer than needed (trim later with a utility knife).
3. Peel back 5 cm of liner, stick that end down firmly.
4. Slowly pull the rest of the liner while pressing the strip with your thumb.
5. At inside corners, snip a tiny “V” on the strip’s edge so it folds without puckering.

• Bathroom: bathtub to wall joints, shower floor corners, behind the toilet tank.

FAQS

Q: Can I apply this over old silicone caulk?
A: You can, but only if the old caulk is flat, hard, and clean. Peeling off the old one first gives a much longer lasting seal.

Q: Will it stick to painted drywall?
A: Yes, but only if the paint is fully cured and not peeling. For glossy or oily surfaces, scuff with fine sandpaper first.

Q: How do I store leftover strip?
A: Waterproof self adhesive caulk strip is packed by blister packing, it is safe for storage.
